Our last day in Bangkok, after packing our case's we sat around the pool for an hours relaxation before getting our flight into Sydney4E9466912219AC68176DC66EDEE49350.jpg

Lost a day flying into Sydney, although Chris was happy as she got introduced to the pilots, in the air for around 9 hours and arrived in Sydney at 5.45 am very tired as we had no sleep at all. We took a cab to our b&b apartment in the in Potts Point area of Sydney, put our heads down for an hour or so, woke up not feeling the best but took ourselves into town by walking through the Royal Botanic Gardens, walking through we were greeted for the first time by the iconic Royal Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Wow! A pretty amazing sight

We walked into Sydney Harbour where the Opera House and Bridge could be seen in all their glory

Tired as we were we then took a 20 min ferry ride out of the harbour into Manly a suburb of Sydney, we had great views of the city as we left the harbour

We spent the rest of the afternoon in Manly and got a bit sunburnt for our troubles. A pretty town with a bit of a village feel and lovely sandy beach. We were recommended to a fish shop by a local, and to be fair they did taste bloody good

By late afternoon we caught the ferry back to the city, both knackerd, we sussed out the bus route back to our apartment for a decent sleep, before starting out again the next day
