26/27 Feb Sydney

View Our exciting gap year holiday & Wedding!!! on Cvclyons's travel map.

Today we Went into the historic Rocks area of Sydney, quaint cobbled streets good restaurants, cafe's then walked around the opera house, harbour side, through to the botanic gardens were we lazed in the sun, we then spent the late afternoon into the evening in the museum of art. They had a few different events on and as it was a late evening Wednesday they had an appearance by Aborigine singer song writer Marcus Corowa, seriously check him out , to hear him live was brilliant he told brief snippets of his life and how they obviously inspired his song writing, pure and from the heart. Sweet soul music (Arthur Conley 1967) spoke to him afterwards a really humble guy. Got ourselves back home after another long day.

Our last day in Sydney and we took a walk into China Town, although not that impressed the Chinese Garden certainly made up for it, a brilliantly designed space. We then took a walk through to Darling Harbour a smaller dock with plenty going on from there we walked through the city centre to the central quay and opera house had some fish & chips whilst we waited for the sun to go down so we could see the bridge and opera house lit up.
